Do you have good skincare routines? In my job as a skin therapist, I'm always asked if you have good skincare routines - the answer is often "no, I don't" or "oh, I should get better at that" or "that it takes too long".
You have to create a routine that fits into your everyday life!
I always cleanse my skin at night and mostly in the morning. I couldn't imagine waking up with makeup from the day before and with dirt and things that get on my skin during the day. It's so nice to go to bed with freshly cleansed skin and with a new refill of serum and good and active cream that gets to work on the skin all night.
Do you shower every morning? Yes, then use your cleanser in the shower (by all means, don't use soap on your face). In the shower, you get to work on your neck and chest a lot more than if you were standing by the sink (you'll get a lot of mess).
I exfoliate my skin 2-3 times a week and use multivitamin thermofoliant from dermalogica which is micro-exfoliating grains that remove dull skin on the surface and give an immediate glow. I like to do this peel in the shower because then I work on my neck and chest.
If you are a beginner who wants to start by getting good routines for caring for your skin – start with a cleanser and a good cream (you can have 1 cream that can be used as day/night cream). Once you have a routine for this, you can start with 1 more product – maybe a peel or 1 serum.
It's never too late to start taking good care of your skin.
Feel free to book a skin analysis, which is free, and I can guide you.
Have a nice day.
